*Prescription should be written for a minimum 30-day supply (2 trays per patient). Out-of-pocket assistance will not exceed $25. Not valid for residents of Massachusetts, patients participating in Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal- or state-funded benefits programs, and where prohibited by law.
**If patients are not satisfied after 6 months of therapy, they can call 1-866-572-5931 to learn how they can claim a 1-year supply of OPTIVE™ Lubricant Eye Drops for free. A 1-year supply is equal to three (3) 15-mL bottles, based on average purchase occasions per year. Offer valid while supplies last.
RESTASIS® Ophthalmic Emulsion is indicated to increase tear production in patients whose tear production is presumed to be suppressed due to ocular inflammation associated with keratoconjunctivitis sicca. Increased tear production was not seen in patients currently taking topical anti-inflammatory drugs or using punctal plugs.
Important Safety Information:
RESTASIS® is contraindicated in patients with active ocular infections and has not been studied in patients with a history of herpes keratitis.
The most common adverse event was ocular burning (upon instillation) – 17%. Other events reported in 1% to 5% of patients included conjunctival hyperemia, discharge, epiphora, eye pain, foreign body sensation, pruritus, stinging, and visual disturbance (most often blurring).
